That means that Tua is going to be the QB and Jalen is moving to WR -- I mean why else would he be fielding one hand catches?
Obviously not, but having said that, it might be interesting to see Jalen catch one or two out in the flats just to watch and see what would happen.

I'm sure there is a QB in the route play in the book, but the question is with Ardarius gone who would throw it? The afore mentioned Ronnie Clark did play QB in high school, I don't know about the others.

I've also sort of forgotten the implication of having a starting QB going into the season. How many reps did we waste the last two years because we didn't know who the starter would be? With this information we can break the reps up according to a normal distribution to get the offense running. I see a concerted shift in making the offense more of a weapon. Clearly if the offense isn't working well and possessing the ball no defense can remain effective beyond 75 or so snaps. Last year's defense could have actually been the best ever. We may never know because of how it ended. It's not so much that we need to score more points, we just can 't have 3&outs. I've never seen a correlation of the 3&outs relative to losing the game but I'll bet it's way up there.

hoping we get some info after the scrimmage Saturday.

Not true, it just means we'll be going with a two qb system... at the same time. Both Tua and Jalen line up in the shotgun, and you don't know who the center will snap to. Absolutely nothing can go wrong with it.

Jacobs was a QB in high school as well.

Hugely important, IMO.

2016's problems were not as bad as 2015's offensive line's right side problems though just because of Jonah Williams who is now on the offensive left side. So yeah, bothersome if it is a regression back toward the 2015 water level.

The "Double Wishbone" --

One QB lines up under center (Tua)....the other QB lines up in the Pistol (Jalen)......Bo lines up behind Jalen, with Jacobs and Harris flanked behind Bo....

I have no doubt JH can throw - he has a cannon for an arm - but I would like to have heard he had spent some time with a QB specialist. I guess there's still summer.

Nice to hear that things are slowing down for him - I can't wait to see JH run this offense this fall!
Yeah, I wonder if that kind of stuff is mostly only doable during the Summer considering classes, camp, workout time, etc during the Spring semester. With that said, I'm expecting a big jump in year two. JPW was a better QB in year two under Saban (though it was his third year as a starter). McElroy had a better year in 2010 than 2009. McCarron went from a game manager to a playmaker in 2012. Nothing is guaranteed but regardless of position guys get better in their second year and imagine what that could mean for the reigning SEC OPoY.

Link This is awesome. I imagine getting to talk to the GOAT would be beneficial no matter the situation but I bet its even better when you are going to be running some of the exact same plays. I know we haven't seen anything from Daboll yet but based on players thoughts on him I think I'm already starting to like him.

That is very cool for Hurts to be able to FaceTime Tom Brady. Daboll seems to be fitting in quite well with the young fellas.
