Sophomore Josh Jacobs ran a 4.50 40, bench-pressed 405 pounds, squatted 500 pounds and had the top vertical jump on the team (35.5 inches)

Loving these stats.

yep - might be the last year we have Mr Payne, especially if he can show some upfield burst and that he's a three down guy.

Well this shows the clear purely athletic divide between Tua and Jalen.

Tua is a great athlete for a QB...Jalen is a top athlete period.

The wide view normally used doesn't fully translate just how fast he is (his gait is a bit deceptive from that view I believe). Seeing him at field level shows it a bit differently.

Jalen can be really smoking, but it looks like he's loping along. (That's good)

agreed - if for some reason QB doesn't work out for Jalen, he'd probably make a heck of a safety.

IMO, that's a real possibility at some point in time, especially when he gets to the NFL.

I think he'd probably disagree...since he's a qb.

But, if he doesn't figure out how to read defenses and throw the ball downfield, he might get that chance at Alabama.

Just for some comparison, Peppers ran the fastest 40 at "LB" since 2009 I believe. His time? 4.46 His height/weight? 5'11" 213 lbs. So, yea...Dylan Moses is a FREAK

I could see him staying because while he can rush the passer some he still isn't a "pass rusher." Makes me think he could be around for another year

now, now. no one is saying he should make the move; just that if for any reason QB doesn't end up being his long term future, he's got options.
