I had 4 hours of back to back conference calls yesterday so we left Alpharetta at 11:30 to get to Fl for the weekend rather than wait till after work. I set up my hotspot and let the wife drive while I worked in the passenger seat. Had we waited I think I would have just canceled the trip. Would have been a nightmare to get down here
We left after the girls got out of school (around 430). The top end of 285 around to I-20 was a bit messy, but it wasn't terrible overall.

Only added 25-30 minutes to our normal GA-FL commute.

MARTA ridership up 25%. I don't think it is a coincidence that the MARTA rail yard is right by the collapsed section. This is a plot to expand MARTA into Cobb and Gwinnett #I85Truther

Zigzag bullet in Dallas.

Flag waving in the breeze on the moon.

FDR knew about Pearl Harbor but kept it to himself.

Bush knew about 9/11, but kept it to himself.

In a nefarious plot to expand their reach, MARTA (aided by the Trilareral Commission) entrusted the execution of an intricate multi-million dollar scheme to three homeless people.

I'm hearing reports on the deep web that APD had a surveillance house on the same block as these homeless while they were learning how to burn their pipes and yet did nothing. #I85Truther

Back from Florida. Our normal 5:30 to 6 hour drive took 6 hours, had to go around 285 instead but it was a surprising non-event to get home.

In the "hold mah beer" department...

Atlanta Braves foam tomahawks fell from a truck on I-75 South near the Windy Hill Road exit in Cobb County on Wednesday morning, officials said.

The location is near new SunTrust Park, which officially opens Friday night.

I can't wait to see what y'all have planned for I-20.......

There is still hope for I-20. Apparently, we may have a copycat arsonist now. 2 bridges had fires that required fire dept trucks in the last 2 days. 1 bridge owned by CSX and one by MARTA. Good stuff.

One of my favorite Atlanta jokes was from Lewis Grizzard.

"In case of a nuclear war, everyone on the north side of Atlanta take I-75 and go north, everyone on the south side take I-85 and go South. And if you're from north of the Mason-Dixon line your escape route is I-285."
