Game thread BAMA at Ole Miss game 2

We give up a hit, 2 walks and a WP in the 2nd..... (Imagine that...) Luckily we got the first 2 out and go out of it unscathed!
Single and 2 errors give us bases loaded 1 out with our big bats, Alexander, Henry DeVinny coming up.
Should've stayed away.... Ole Miss uses a couple of hits, a walk and small ball to tie the game at 4 end of 6.
So, top 7 we PH for DeVinny who has one of the highest OBP on the team which means we lose his defense, arguably the best of our catchers in a tie game. Webb our WORST D catcher has a brutal bottom 7 with 2 passed balls. Make no sense.....
Devinny was 0 for 3 with 2Ks and 3 LOB. Plus his passed ball in the bottom of the 4th allowed runner to advance and score.
Not necessarily defending DeVinny except the fact his defense is light years ahead of Webb's and he scorched a ball to CF that the CF makes a great play or DeVinny would've had 2 RBI. It did not bite us but, Webb's two passed balls on routine pitches could've hurt us. Just with Kaufman injured and unable to catch, not sure why you sacrifice defense in that situation.
Kids just got to come out tomorrow and play.....
