Gotta give Vainer a lot of credit! Bounced back and got them 1-2-3 in the 12th. I assume at 70 pitches he is done. Back when he was around 34 pitches he was at a career high.

Oh, pitcher is a lefty, from Vestavia Hills. Ugly ERA, but not many innings.

Must be the crappiest way to lose a game that you had won, then blew it, then had it won, again, and blew it again.

I believe even if the umps saw it that is 2nd out but runner on 3rd can score? Or, is it a dead ball and the runner is put back at 3rd?

That is probably it. Not sure if they can put the guy on 3rd back there. Sounds like it would have been a DP.

Interference. Dead ball, runner is out, batter takes his base and the other runners only advance if forced. Would have been bases loaded with two outs.
