Anyway, not having the benefit of actually seeing it, and trying to make sense of our radio team, going bonkers....................
It works like a FC. Runner is out. Batter goes to first, and the one on first advances to second. That leaves the runner on third, and he advances, also. Everyone has to be accounted for, and that is how it works.
The sick part is, as already has been said:
One strike away from winning, in the previous inning. No, could not shut them down. Then, we botch a routine pop-up, right in front of the plate. That would have pulled our bacon out of the fire.
Then we walk 3 guys........................
Well, our guys never stop fighting. As much as they are probably beaten down, by the constant losing (and berating by Goof), it is amazing they still have it in them to never give up.
