Former Florida Gators defensive tackle Caleb Brantley has been charged with a misdemeanor battery charge after an altercation that occurred on April 13.
Alachua County Court records originally show that Brantley and the alleged victim were in a verbal altercation due to “crude comments” Brantley allegedly made. The report states that the alleged victim shoved Brantley and he responded by “striking the victim in the face knocking her unconscious.”
Brantley’s initial claim was that he was struck in the face first and responded in self-defense. The report has two eyewitnesses...
