My second grader has been exposed to Nye's more traditional fare and though I'm of a different political bent, I don't really mind.

Insane stuff like this makes me want the kids to avoid Nye altogether. And if it's continues, I'll be that parent and have an uncomfortable talk with teachers.

So Netflix suggested that I might like this so I checked out the first episode to see if it was worth showing my kid.

The answer was no. This is terrible terrible programming.

it was being rumored that he chose to do the new show on Netflix because he got total creative control. Thinking maybe they should have held on a little tighter

If that is true though he didn't have to do this bit for the $$$, he did it because he wanted to
