I read an article on Bamahammer by Bobby Wesson (sorry I don't know how to link to it), that said Bama now has had 18 1st Round picks under the 10 years of Nick Saban. Add 4 or 5 tonight and that total comes to 22 or 23. Unbelievably, Bama only had 11 1st Round picks in the 25 years under Bear Bryant. A total of 52 have already been drafted before tonight during the Saban era.

Alabama players are on an unbelievable and successful run in the NFL.

There were fewer NFL teams during that time, but still outstanding run

If he indeed is falling and a team isn't just leaking it in hopes of him falling to them, it's because of possible arthritis in his shoulder.
He said himself the doctors reported the arthritis could be an issue "15+ years from now."

I fully believe it's the first part of your post - there are teams around picks 8-12 that would love to see him slip.

When did Jamal Adams become worthy of a #2 overall pick? Whenever we played LSU none of us were like, "Gotta keep an eye on him."

Doesn't matter where you start. Matters what you do with your opportunity. I don't think any of our draft eligible guys will go undrafted besides Dieter and he MAY get drafted.

He is not a #2, but he is the best safety in the draft. This from an OSU guy, and we have a few DBs who will go in the first round today, including a safety (Hooker).

It's all about getting to the second contract for those guys...

One thing I hate about NFL Draft is that there are too much negativity stories on the day of the draft and it affects people's stock.
