    Ranking the 25 SECCGs.

    Since its offseason....

I decided to rank the SECCGs based upon how competitive they were, but I found it way easier to fill my top 10 least competitive than the most competitive. But anyway just wanted to see how everyone ranks them based on the competitiveness of games.

    #1. 1992 Bama over UF 28-21
    #2. 2008 UF over Bama 31-20
    #3. 2012 Bama over UGA 32-28
    #4. 2009 Bama over UF 32-13
    #5. 1997 UT over AUB 30-29
    _ _ _ _ _ Top 5 most competitive _ _ _ _ _ _ _
    #6. 1994 UF over Bama 24-23
    #7 2006 UF over Arkansas 38-28
    #8. 2001 LSU over Tennessee 31-20
    #9. 2004 Auburn over Tennessee 38-28
    #10. 1998 Tennessee over MSU 24-14
    #11. 2007 LSU over Tennessee 21-14
    #12. 2015 Bama over UF 29-15
    #13 2013 Auburn over Mizzou 59-42
    #14. 1993 UF over Bama 28-13
    #15. 2014 Bama over Mizzou 42-13
    #16. 2005 UGA over LSU 34-14
    #17. 2003 LSU over UGA 34-13
    #18. 1999 Bama over UF 34-7
    #19 1996 UF over Bama 45-30
    #20. 2000 UF over Auburn 28-6
    _ _ _ _ Top 5 Least Competitive_ _ _ _ _
    #21. 2011 LSU over UGA 42-10
    #22. 2016 Bama over UF 54-16
    #23. 2010 Auburn over USCE 56-17
    #24. 2002 UGA over Arky 30-3
    #25. 1995 UF over Arky 34-3

But from a favorite standpoint my top 5 are

    1. 92
    2. 09
    3. 99
    4. 12
    5. 14

We did not lose to Florida by 21 pts in 2008, did we? I thought that game was much closer.

It was 31-20, it was much closer. Still bugs me. Had we contained Tebow for one more quarter we would have likely had another ring.

nope, just a typo after trying to remember and write down 25 different score.

I think the years on 3 and 4 are flipped. We beat UF in 2009 and UGA in 2012

It's hard to have '92 anywhere but #1, but I've never seen a more competitive game with ups and downs than the 2012 Georgia/Bama thriller. That was the NC game for sure because Georgia takes ND to the woodshed too!

2012 Bama vs UGA game was incredible. Don't know if you can get more competitive than that

Yeah, that was biggie. I think it was the turning point in the game. Correct call, though.

2012 would be #1 for me - that one felt like it could have gone either way - even down to the last play.

    Re: Ranking the 25 SECCGs.

2012 would also be my #1 but 1994 was a very good game, that we were on the losing end of. I'm not sure that team would have gotten a piece of the NC. Nebraska was bound for the Orange Bowl, and Penn State was bound for the Rose Bowl. They both won. We might have beaten Florida State in the Sugar Bowl to finish 13-0. But we were solidly behind both Penn State and Nebraska in the polls before the SEC championship game. I'm not sure we would have made up the ground... but beating Florida and Florida State back to back would have been an impressive feat. Nebraska actually won both polls though... PSU got shut out of the NC altogether.

1992 was an instant classic for sure.

The 1997 game between the bad (AU) and the ugly (UT) was a great game. A great back and forth featuring Manning and Dameyune Craig.

2008 was pretty good, from a competitive standpoint.

But none of the rest really stand out to me.
