Joss Whedon to finish Justice League due to zack Snyder family tragedy

Yeah it's hard to really put it into words because it's really messed up.
On one hand, ever since Whedon joined the DCEU for the Batgirl film I was hoping that was a sign that they were just holding him on contract in case either Wonder Woman or JL flopped so they could move him up to be the main director , or after WB and Snyder parted ways. But how it happened is just terrible.
