It seems that most, if not all, food has been culturally appropriated at some point along the way or is so obvious as to be "created" by multiple cultures across the centuries. For example, the humble dumpling has its many cross-cultural versions.

And the "Wedding Cake" was born out of that culture.....
Then.....wouldn't anyone that makes a cake for any other sexually-based culture -- be guilty of "cultural misappropriation" as well....?

Notice that 99.99% of those complaining about cultural appropriation were white. I don't think I saw a hispanic complainer at all.
