It seems that most, if not all, food has been culturally appropriated at some point along the way or is so obvious as to be "created" by multiple cultures across the centuries. For example, the humble dumpling has its many cross-cultural versions.

I saw that there was a book written on the invention of Heterosexual Culture:

So, if there is a "Heterosexual Culture"....
And the "Wedding Cake" was born out of that culture.....
Then.....wouldn't anyone that makes a cake for any other sexually-based culture -- be guilty of "cultural misappropriation" as well....?
