Jason Jackson from FAU reportedly hired as pitching coach.

    FAU bio
"I don't know what class is but I can tell when one has it, you can tell from a mile away"
    -- Coach Bryant

"We always talk about playing 60 minutes but this is a 60-10 game: the 60 minutes of the game and the 10 minutes in the locker room after the game that you remember for the rest of your life."
-- Nick Saban day after beating Clemson

Curious who is named recruiting coordinator. Bohannon held the position at Auburn. Jackson held it at FAU, and Zulli was it at La Tech.

That's a big positive. Tells me all these guys are locked in on recruiting and have good relationships with a lot of high school and travel programs.

I don't follow college baseball like I do football and I am wondering how many coaches are on a college baseball staff? I know you have the head coach, pitching coaching, and hitting coach.

It's usually three full-time paid coaches (head + 2 assistants). Then you might have a volunteer assistant or a student/graduate assistant for a fourth on-field staff member. Most schools also have an operations guy as well, but that person is not allowed to work with the players on the field.

I thought that was all there were, but I wasn't sure if there were more.

Doesn't look like any of the coaches are being retained. He'll have to find a job elsewhere. I doubt he'd stay on in a baseball ops job or a volunteer role.

They were all let go except for Rooney who was named 'acting' HC. Now that CBB is here, Rooney is gone.

Hate it for Derek b/c he was really liked by the players!

A big emphasis on coaches that can recruit at a high level hasn't hurt the football team . . .
