I-30 is quite a mess, in that part of town. The load seems to be a trailer full of copper sheet. It is all over the freeway.

And, it seems, was stolen.

And speaking of stolen copper.................

"Oh, no, another o/t diversion."

Yeah, so I will try to make it brief.

Many years ago, two...............uh.............folks who were very remote bidnis associates were living out in Lake Havasu. One day, they see a whole mess of copper, in the middle of the desert. So, being eccentric dorky (and somewhat shady) engineers, they design and build some contraption to coil up the copper, load it onto the contraption, and make off with it. To sell at a salvage yard.

Which, naturally, took down their driver's license numbers.

Eventually, the power company got around to working on whatever it was that they were working on, with all of the copper. Only to find it missing.

Wasn't too hard to find the 2 dorks who did it.

(The mastermind, of the 2, still had his security clearance. Make that past tense.)
