Amazon Studios TV Show "Patriot"

I have not heard much on here about this, but I am watching this this week and it is hysterical in a dry way.

When I saw the bit at the 1:59 point of the trailer, I spit up my beer.
Anyway, I would recommend giving it a watch, if you have Amazon Prime.
Amazon just agreed to do season 2.

The leader character sings folk songs, which are, shall we say, a bit too candid, about his secret life. Anyway, he sings a folk song with lyrics about Iran getting "short-range nuclear weapons." Never heard Bob Dylan sing about that subject.
Very deadpan.

my wife and i watched the first episode last night and liked it. we found ourselves chuckling quite a bit.

the first episode had one of my wife's favorite songs being sung/played by the lead character and his dad (townes van zandt, if i needed you). i decided to let it slide that the dad had his guitar capoed incorrectly
