Driven many of them through the years, and replaced many worn out shift tubes inside the steering columns for folks as well!

In the early 90's I was in a bad accident that broke me up pretty bad. The only vehicle I had left to drive, once I got to where I could move around some, was a 1965 GMC step side with an inline 6 and three on the tree. It was wore slap out. The shift forks inside the old Saginaw 3 speed transmission were so worn, that you had to hold the shifter down to keep it from jumping out of 3rd gear. It was really a handful to drive with a cast on my right arm from my shoulder to my wrist, not to mention all the play in steering wheel!
