That he handled that bigotry with such class reveals his character. A very impressive young man, on and off the field.
Usually the best young men have strong parental role models involved in their life. OJ is of that ilk. He has roots deep enough to stay well grounded, mixed among some who only have an exceptional ability to play ball.
It's obvious the community he grew up in knew him as much more than just a great ball player. As the article shows his character speaks volumes about his family.
