When my wife was a labor/delivery nurse, because of the 12,000 +/- deliveries the hospital did per year, there were sadly a number of babies stillborn or who passed away shortly after being born. My wife always volunteered to take care of the baby and be with the parents during this time. It was a heartbreaking job, but this is something she felt she needed to do. To this day, my wife gets a bit sad when she sees a butterfly because that is the symbol put on the patient's door to notify the staff that the baby had died.
That this incredible gentleman has devoted his life to this ..... I'm in awe of his compassion.
