Here's a change I could support and would be money better spent that creating a separate Space Force:
USAF looking (again) at buying prop-driven ground attack aircraft.
Competitors are:
The Brazilian Embraer/Sierra Nevada AT-29B Tucano
The Beechcraft AT-6 Wolverine
Air Tractor AT-802
The Textron AirLand Scorpion (although this one is a jet)
Props are a lot cheaper to fly (per flight hour), can usually take off at rougher forward airfields, and fly slower, giving the pilot & bombardier a better look at their targets.
