Global over population is taxing our resources and causing an increase in deforestation, an increase in shipping (freighters create a ton of carbon emissions on their own), increased electrical production, cars on the road and manufacturing as well as a battle for scarce resources which is part of the massive migration occurring now in Europe from Africa and central Asia.

We need a massive culling.

Now we know who built the Georgia Guide Stones.

Don't know about culling, but slowing population growth would be a good thing.

No, we need an ELE type event that would wipe out about 6 billion folks...but enough nuclear engineers left at each plant to be able to safely shut down all the reactors. ;)

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

A massive culling is not a workable option. Lowering our emissions is.

Our global population is unsustainable. The deforestation for farming and grazing is actually causing more desert to grow in Africa. We are clearly reducing the trees needed to help "breathe" the CO2 and replenish the oxygen. Brazil's rainforest has been called the "lungs of our planet" and we're wiping that out for grazing. Because of overpopulation, we have a shortage of drinkable water as well. Want to go take a dip in the Ganges? Our next "global war will be over clean, drinkable water and food. The locusts have overpopulated and destroyed their homelands and are now moving north to more fertile lands to destroy them. I'm sure it's all going to work out just fine though.
