Teen Vogue magazine found itself in a a bit of a spot after publishing a “how-to” article on “A Guide to Anal Sex.”

Parents of teen subscribers called for a boycott of the magazine after a July 7 article ran and was chock-full of things that the magazine’s editors claimed readers “needed” to know about anal sex.

The article’s author, Gigi Engle, wrote, “Obviously there is a lot of stuff on the Internet about anal (we don’t suggest you Google it), but most of what you’ll find is either porn or advice for experienced sexual persons looking to try something new. What about the teenagers? What about the LGBTQ young people who need to know about this for their sexual health?”
seebell don't Google it... ;)

we avoid all of the kind of stuff that fashion magazines represent. Conspicuous consumerism, worship of celebrity, conformity and about a billion other related reasons
But you'd be okay with your kids reading "Guide to anal sex" articles if the billion other things weren't present? Or does this fall under one of the billion other things?

In general I have no issue with sexual education for my kids. In fact I looked at the article itself and it doesn't concern much. My only problem with it is that it doesn't represent the potential long term issues, such as hemorrhoids that can come from anal. They cover consent, safety and how to proceed slowly with care. I don't want my kids being sexually active early, but if they are I want it to be as safe as possible. I didn't have any information at that age, they have too much so I am fine with good safe sources

Good thing nobody worships Nick Saban.
