Junior defensive back Chris Williamson is no longer with the Florida Gators football team and will transfer, multiple sources told Gator Country.
Williamson played in 14 games, making one start in 2017 (UMass), throughout his first two seasons in Gainesville. Most of Williamson’s time was spent playing on special teams. He had five tackles in two seasons.
Entering his third season, the Gainesville, Georgia native was facing stiff competition from a deep class of cornerbacks from the 2017 signing class. The Gators signed five defensive backs in 2017 and have three redshirt freshman,...
