Here may be a clear abuse of authority, or a group at USCw trying to find a problem where there is none. This case is by far the exception to the rule that ~20% of women are assaulted on campus and ~90% don't report.

But here, the level of ignorant (male?) vitriol is oh so typical toward a system initiated to give women a reasonable chance to fight back against an entire judicial/societal system that way more often than not ignores sexual violence, denigrates any female who dares call out who assaulted her, belittles females, and puts rape kits on shelves never to be tested is far better than any we've ever had before in history. Does Title IX need improvement? Sure. Has Title IX created a lot more equity in sports than would ever have happened without it? Without a doubt. Have you read or done any real research on Title IX except hear about it from talking heads or the occasional article? Probably not. It's very clear most of y'all have a lot to learn.

This is an example of investigators seeing what they want to see - something which supports conclusions that they have already made - and ignoring evidence and testimony which refutes their conclusions. This is a pervasive mentality. It is the primary reason that so many innocent people end up in jail.

If you are ever in a situation in which you must judge another, please take the time to gather all of the evidence before beginning the process of deriving conclusions.
I thought Rich Jophaningmeier had retired...
