To explain, she doesn't even use the WiFi here. She uses satellite, so her WiFi stays off all the time. I talked her into trying their WiFi when satellite was so weak. She just didn't get it turned off. I've already alerted them...Good to know. Good luck!
Well, is it really an iOS exploit in the end? On her phone, it appears the calls were made. On T-Mobile's records, they don't exist. I still don't understand the mechanics of what went on and that makes me uncomfortable...Crazy to hear about an honest to goodness iOS exploit in the wild. It is a rare thing. You should get a trophy for this honestly!
I've used several in the past. Still subscribe to one. OTOH, I meticulously keep all sensitive material off my traveling devices...A good VPN service would keep prying eyes and ears away while on public wifi.
