Updates on Alabama Prospects' Draft Decisions

WalterFootball.com caught up with some area scouts who have scouted Alabama and inquired what they are hearing about players declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft. Here is the what scouts told us about some of the draft-eligible players.

Defensive Tackle Quinnen Williams: Teams believe he is definitely declaring.

Linebacker Mack Wilson: Teams were surprised to hear that there is a real possibility that he will go back to Alabama for next season.

Safety Deionte Thompson: It is 50-50 on if he comes out.

Cornerback Saivion Smith: Teams are hearing there is a good chance that he enters the 2019 NFL Draft.

Running Back Josh Jacobs: Sources believe Jacobs is going to come out based on what they've heard.

Tight End Irv Smith Jr.: Teams think that Smith is more likely to go back to school rather than enter the 2019 NFL Draft.

Marlon Humphrey has been named Ravens MVP (apparently declines).
Reporters covering the Baltimore Ravens selected cornerback Marlon Humphrey as the NFL team’s Most Valuable Player for the 2018 season. Media representatives wanted to give the award to Humphrey on Friday, but he declined to participate in the presentation.
Humphrey relayed through the Ravens' public-relations department that he didn’t feel right about being singled out for accolades with Baltimore battling together for a postseason berth in its regular-season finale on Sunday.

The Walter Football site also has article saying Jonah may be a late first round pick and may switch to guard or center in NFL.

I wonder if there is any chance he comes back

What’s up with Yeldon?

“SONVILLE, Fla. -- The actions of Jaguars running backs Leonard Fournette and T.J. Yeldon did not sit well with Jacksonville executive vice president Tom Coughlin, who unloaded on the two after Sunday's loss to Houston.

Fournette, who was inactive because of a foot/ankle injury, and Yeldon sat on the bench throughout the game and appeared disinterested in anything that was happening.”

Yeldon got zero touches in the game and the Jags are terrible and long since eliminated. Coughlin is a jerk - old school jerk.

TJ was inactive last week, and they didn’t play him at all this week. He’s a FA at the end of the season. Seems like they are done with him.

Seems to me that Jacksonville may be trying to hurt him in free agency or with contractual triggers by not letting him participate. Jacksonville has problems. That team quit midseason but Yeldon had been a relatively good performer for them.
