Woman on CNN right now is wearing a tee shirt that says. "If you are not outraged you are not paying attention"

Seriously?

Passion is a good thing but too many angry people.

They should channel their anger into something more productive than politics.

Like gardening....or walking on a beach......riding a bike.....life is too short to create friction.
right? It's only terrorism and murder, why be outraged?

Hatred is their hobby, if not their whole lives, Baz...

That's up on my Facebook page also...
It was shared on a family member's page in Portuguese.

Esse cara se chama Peter Cvjetanovic. Peter ficou triste que esta foto dele na marcha racista tenha se tornado viral. Então, seja gentil e não compartilhe essa foto, ok?
This guy's name is Peter Cvjetanovic. Peter was sad that this picture of him on the racist march has gone viral. So be kind and don't share this picture, okay?

Prominent black CEO steps down from Trump advisory counsil over Trump's failure to condemn white supremacists. Trump immediately attacks the guy on twitter. Classy.
To be clear, Trump has spent more time criticizing Merck's CEO than an act of domestic terrorism perpetrated by white supremacists that resulted in American deaths.

That's exactly the English that's on my page. I think we will soon hear a statement from him... :D
he made a couple of statements yesterday.

I did not expect the photo to be shared as much as it was. I understand the photo has a very negative connotation. But I hope that the people sharing the photo are willing to listen that I’m not the angry racist they see in that photo.

I came to this march for the message that white European culture has a right to be here just like every other culture. It is not perfect; there are flaws to it, of course. However I do believe that the replacement of the statue will be the slow replacement of white heritage within the United States and the people who fought and defended and built their homeland. Robert E Lee is a great example of that. He wasn’t a perfect man, but I want to honor and respect what he stood for during his time.

I've stayed away from this topic here and on other SM, as I don't have much to add. It's all horrific and terribly sad. Truly hoping the tearing and fracturing functions like it does in muscle tissue and binds us together stronger than before. I can only hope.

The one thing I did want to point out is that now, one thing this event has all but guaranteed, is that every prominent Confederate monument of every sort is going to come down. They protested to keep it up, but now they've shot themselves in the foot and too much national ire is directed at these statues. Had they kept quiet and not said anything there's a chance this whole episode would have slipped by and quite a few statues would have remained standing. But now, it just seems like a guarantee that they'll all come down.

Yup. Lexington's mayor wasted no time in committing to removing their Confederate monuments.

I have argued for them in the past. I think Robert E. Lee was a great man, even if he fought on the side that had slavery. Yet, if this is really what their existence is going to cause, then take them all down. Put them in a museum or whatever, I don't care anymore.

These people need to slither back to the cesspool they crawled out of.

He really needs to resign. This is beyond stupid.

Not sure how this got hyperlinked...it was just a comment on his latest tweet.
