Only five teams have been ranked in every single college football playoff poll.
Bama, Ohio State, Clemson, Florida State, and.............
Give it a shot :)

I must not understand the question. Last year alone FSU was, in order of the polls issued, 22, 18, 17, 14, 12, and 11 in the last poll. Likewise, Utah was 16, 15, 12, 22, 20, and 19. So, if you're referring to the poll "the committee" publishes, I have to question the 5 teams you listed. Again, I must be missing some essential part of the question.

I don't remember hearing Packer say top 10. I think he was talking about the top 25.

I checked the polls for each year, and only Alabama has been in the Top 10 of each poll. Even Ohio State and Clemson were not in the Top 10 of every Playoff poll every year. The year Ohio State won it all, they started outside of the Top 10 in the first playoff poll. I must not understand the question either...

I did some double-checking and discovered that, yes, those are the only five teams to be ranked - at all, not Top 10 - in each and every CFP poll.

Those coming in behind those five were each ranked (out of a possible 19) in the following number of CFP polls:

Oklahoma - 17
LSU - 15
Baylor - 14
Wisconsin - 14
Barn - 13
Michigan State - 13
TCU - 13

As for teams appearing in the Top 10 of each and every CFP poll, that is a list of one: Alabama.
The trailers:
Ohio State - 17
Clemson - 12
Michigan State - 10
Florida State - 9
Baylor - 9
Oklahoma - 8
TCU - 8
Notre Dame - 8
Michigan - 7
Oregon - 7
Mississippi State - 7

And, while no team has appeared in the Top 5 of each and every CFP poll, here is that list:
Alabama - 18
Clemson - 12
Ohio State - 10
Florida State - 7
Oregon - 7
Michigan - 5
Mississippi State - 5
Iowa - 5
Washington - 5
TCU - 4
Michigan State - 3
Oklahoma - 3
Notre Dame - 3
Auburn - 2
Baylor - 1
Penn State - 1
Ole Miss - 1
Louisville - 1
LSU - 1
Texas A&M - 1

I was just relaying what Mark Packer shared on Sirius sports. Maybe he meant "Final Playoff poll each season"...Not sure.
I was just relaying what I heard. I'm sure there's an explanation.

Given the questions - is there a link or where did this come from?
Mark Packer brought it out today on Sirius radio. Both me and CrimsonSEC heard it cause he's the one who answered correctly. I figured it was correct since Packer is really a great sports radio host. Maybe he just said "ranked" rather than "ranked in the top ten". Not sure.
