The offense will look little like NE Patriot, but with a little Bama twist to it. We'll see plenty of TEs, 4 and 5 receivers set. It'll be multi-offense that has ability to go fast or slow. We have the personnel to adjust each week.

Yes. All wishbone QBs were today's dual purpose, with emphasis on running. Also, the guy behind was almost as good. Had to be, since the QB was at risk every play. Basically, shrinking manpower plus DCs learning how to dictate who carried the ball doomed it...

I really think that it will more of what we did from 2008-2012--as long as Jalen can throw and complete for 200-250 yds/game, which I definitely think he can.

If we look like the 2009 Alabama offense it would be fine with me. Add a QB that passes as effectively as Mcelroy with Hurts wheels . . . Bo S and Najee H filling the Trent role, Jacobs and Damien H the Ingram role. . . Wideouts as effective as Julio, Norwood, and Marquis . . TEs as effective as Peek and Dial . . Working with an O Line as dominant as Fluker/Carpenter/Barrett Jones/Vlachos, etc. Shoot, if we get line play like the 2009 group our offense WILL be good . . very good.

Well, I want an offense that goes down the field and scores on EVERY series. I want a defense that scores 2.2 TD's each game.

That should NOT be tooooooo much to ask for.

I just want the offense to be multiple. I don't want it to have to rely on one type of play to win games and to be able to adjust based on opponent and game situations. I'm a little worried about our ability to run a 4+ minute offense to close out tough games.
