Hey guys. I've posted on tidefans mainly on the football board for some time. I am currently fighting an uninflammatory myopathy of idiopathic origins. We have no treatment plan from our doctors as they do not know what caused this or how to treat it. I'm only 39 with an amazing wife and 9 year old son. I am including my GoFundMe link as we are trying for stem cell therapy. Its our only line of medical hope. Prayers and any help are appreciated. This is my gofundme link. Thank you so much

First, I'm sorry this is happening to you. I also hope you are getting top notch medical care from specialists. I will be praying for you and hoping for the best.
Thank you so much... Unfortuately, i was misdiagnosed and ignored at the Mayo Clinic. Every doctor around has given up on finding the cause and are perplexed. I have been passed along and I am on my 20th doctor now. My wife and I have become our own doctors and we have come to the conclusion that no doctor is going to take the time to research for me. I finally begged for a muscle biopsy which confirmed what I had tried to tell the Mayo Clinic and any doctor that would listen to me.

First, know that God is all powerful and what seems like could be a miracle for us, could be as easy for God, as snapping his fingers.

Secondly, don't give up your pursuit of respect, and clarity from your doctor. They have an obligation to deliver certain services and qualities of service, in response to you paying them for their services.

Third, whatever insurance you have, odds are their website has a list of doctors in network. I recommend people always start there, but if you have the means available, don't be afraid to go outside your network. This is your life, and you're too young to leave it in someone else's hands (besides the good Lord that is).

Fourth, not sure of your name, but your on my prayer list as of this morning.

Ironically, I was reading a devotion last night about being a Warrior for God. Your in the middle of the battle, if you've got your spiritual helmet and sword ready to fight, there's no challenge too big.

Blessings.

p.s. I just realized how old this was... hope things are well.
Thank you my friend, we are still battling. We are still testing, as to this point we haven't found the cause. So, we have had 6 diagnosis and those 6 have been removed. The biggest factor is my condition doesn't match any known conditions out there. But , we pray and fight. We have tried stem cells as we have exhausted all efforts, Mayo and kirklin clinic. We haven't seen any improvement from stem cells but , we continue to pray. At this point, without any medical guidance to help us....we have gone with our own nutrition and physical fitness plan. It's really all we know to do.
