Does this mean that they were treated unfairly for going to prison for breaking the law? I hear this type of statistic all the time and it always makes me wonder why people think criminals should be in direct correlation with race.
I brought the small percentage of black people that live in Vermont, into a discussion about some of Bernie Sanders ideas. I should have left off the percentage of blacks in jail but it seemed a high ratio. In retrospect I shouldn't have made that comment at all and just remarked about what I thought was political pandering that was somewhat misleading IMO. Bernie has a way of making a utopian society seem more plausible than my cynical views which may be due in part to the areas we have called our home. He seems to be very appealing to young people and many others. In all I don't see where he could screw up much worse than other leaders in our nations body politic. I do feel he'd be a weak foreign strategist.

They were actually shanghaied and sent to serve in combat operations around the globe. Vermont folks really want to keep their state as white as their winters.

Saudi Arabia pledges to create a nuclear bomb if Iran does
Yeah, that'll be great.

The previous administration dismantled the international consensus on sanctions against Iran (a consensus that will be impossible to rebuild absent some big western city disappearing beneath a mushroom cloud) and the agreement gave billions to Iran and guaranteed it will get a nuclear weapon (just not as fast as it was getting one before the Iran nuke deal).

If you believe, like Bernie, that the Iran nuclear deal was a success, then you have no idea what foreign policy should look like.

I agree that the default setting on our foreign policy should be non-interventionist. It doesn't follow that we have massive wealth redistribution to fund socialistic domestic policy. Sanders claims big government is destructive abroad but somehow wonderful domestically? You can't ignore half of reality.
Unless your a liberal then all bets are off
