I apologize if this is a duplicate or in the wrong spot, but I just read it and had to share...http://247sports.com/Article/Hugh-Freeze-Asks-For-Forgiveness-107810053
Your forgiven Hugh. Now go ... and sin no more.It is standard fair to apologize, hey here is a novel idea, do not mess up in the fiirst place
We all mess up from time to time, some maybe more than others. For his family's sake I hope he is being truthful. It is standard fair to apologize, hey here is a novel idea, do not mess up in the fiirst place
You're spot on...but he also should apologize to all those fans of other schools whom he slandered in denying the cheating that was alleged. He also could try apologizing for playing the "Christian" card and further sullying that name. I'll forgive him...and I am sure God forgives him...but he has done irreparable harm to the cause of Christ. It is pretty clear from the wording that he is asking to be forgiven for using escorts, something which is between him and his wife. The only thing that he should be apologizing to his fans for is the other cheating, which is about to bring that program to it knees.
No, he hasn't.You're spot on...but he also should apologize to all those fans of other schools whom he slandered in denying the cheating that was alleged. Well he hasn't exactly helped and he's provided more ammo to doubters to support the belief that Christians are just frauds preying on weak minds. No, he hasn't.
Wondering if he will produce another apology if Ole Miss is found guilty of recruiting violations. Perhaps he already has it penned and sitting on his desk.InB4 non-sports...
"The more he talked of his honor, the more we counted our spoons."No, he hasn't.
Yes he has...he played the Christian card time and again only to show that he was a fraud. There will be plenty of young people who will hear of this and say it's all a fraud. Or worse, like Jim Bakker, he will hit the circuit preaching...write a book and make millions...my prayer is that he goes home and minds his own business. We've heard enough from him for one lifetime. No, he hasn't.
Don't sweat it. I don't think too many Christians outside Mississippi buy Freeze's schtick, and I doubt many non-Christians really think we're all like him, either.I'm wearing my "prepared to be burned at the stake" clothes.
