shots fired from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay down at a Country Music Festival across the street. HorrificStory is just breaking.
Happening at Mandalay Bay Casino.
He appears to have used at least one fully automatic weapon.Shooter's motive unclear, but numerous firearms were found in his hotel room. Currently searching his home address and hotel room. That's all the LVPD is willing to share for now.
This is already the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, and we're still counting the injured and dead. Horrible.
That or a bump fired semiautomatic, from the videos. I'm hearing conflicting things, and I don't think police have identified the weapons used.He appears to have used at least one fully automatic weapon.
Unfortunately, given the number injured, that's likely to increase.50 Dead now?!
Doesn't seem to fit the profile.Absolutely horrible.
Shooter is dead. Reports are leaking out that it was a 64-year-old white man, but it's probably best to wait for an official confirmation.
Edit: Confirmed. Shooter was Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old local man who apparently had a criminal past and was known to Nevada law enforcement.
Needs a manifesto for something like this.Doesn't seem to fit the profile.
I hear it’s up to 200 injured now, so yeah, it looks like you are right.Unfortunately, given the number injured, that's likely to increase.
Have never had my bags checked upon entering a hotel. Wouldn't be hard to get one into a hotel/casino in that manner.Needs a manifesto for something like this.
How do you get an arsenal in a casino? No metal detectors? It's a casino, with money and drunk people.
I'm not sure this is sarcasm or not. I hope not.Doesn't seem to fit the profile.
