Alabama likely won't have to be without Da'Shawn Hand for very long.
The senior defensive lineman, who suffered a knee injury during the Crimson Tide's win over Ole Miss on Saturday, is expected to only miss about three games and could be back as soon as Alabama's game against LSU Nov. 4, AL.com has learned.
Further evaluation on Sunday confirmed that Hand, who at first looked like he suffered a potentially serious injury, sustained only a sprained MCL.
In addition, Tide cornerback and punt returner Trevon Diggs should also be back soon.
Diggs, who suffered a foot injury during the win over Ole Miss, will likely miss a week or two, AL.com has learned.
Freshman wide receiver Henry Ruggs will probably be Alabama's punt returner with Diggs out.
