This has been typical of Saban teams at LSU and at Alabama when playing a team with a very good defensive front 7. It makes those games a lot closer, but if Alabama has the better team (and it usually does), it generally produces a W.Just seemed/looked like the team/coordinator was playing not to lose, instead of playing all out to win...!?! Got the same feeling in the FSU game.
Granted some of this may have been due to injuries, which in turn made things look very vanilla on both sides of the ball...
