If you mean when their rankings first come out, I would agree, but IMO, if both finish undefeated, Bama will be the number 1 seed, having beaten AU and UGA in their last 2 games. Clemson has little left.I think that will happen with the playoff committee.

Depends on Miami for them. If Miami wins out also that would set up to undefeated teams in their championship game. Miami does not have a tough road ahead with only VT to deal with.If you mean when their rankings first come out, I would agree, but IMO, if both finish undefeated, Bama will be the number 1 seed, having beaten AU and UGA in their last 2 games. He should try to be better than 1-4 v. OSU and MSU first before signing up for cage fight with a Saban squad.Michigan is NOT that good. I know the press wants sooooo bad for the Saban and Harbaugh matchup but it is not happening. They'll finish 3rd in their division again.

Yeah, I agree. Bama has the most upside because Clemson’s schedule was frontloaded badly and Bama is catching it on the backend. If you mean when their rankings first come out, I would agree, but IMO, if both finish undefeated, Bama will be the number 1 seed, having beaten AU and UGA in their last 2 games. More than likely you’re right though they’ve struggled against terrible teams. They’re still winning and they are the “defending champs.” I guess get ready to go to the Rose Bowl.GT and NCST will end up being quality games. We're are literally gonna make up some distance on the BACK end of the schedule if we beat Auburn then play and undefeated Georgia then defeat them too. Even so, there is a chance Clemson is playing a no loss Miami but at either rate there is a chance their ACCCG is a very good opponent too. Also, their season ender against SCAR could end up being a solid resume win too.
We're just not gonna "catch" Clemson's resume before the playoffs assuming both keep winning. They should be #1 right now and I don't really understand why they're not in the AP poll. I suspect that if everything holds serve then Clemson will be #1 in the CFP poll.
Washington’s schedule is back loaded. I’d rank them in the top 5 based on personnel, coach, and how they’ve handled business so far. I watched part of the Cal game after ours and they look like a good football team to my eye.Washington hasn't played anybody! If they had played anyone with a pulse I might agree with you.
Never thought I'd live to see the day when the SEC and the American Athletic Conference had the same number of teams in the top 25. 3 each.Interesting that the SEC only has 3 ranked teams and that all 3 are in the top ten.
I really don't care either way, but I would like to see us remain #1 so we can continue to pad our "most wins as the #1 ranked team" stat.I GENUINELY hope Bama gets moved to #2. I think they play better that way. Problem is, #1 gets field advantage meaning of Clemson is #1, we go out to the rose Bowl

The clear answer there is to best auburn. That would take care of the discrepancy, right?I just want to say that it really peevs me that technically (thanks to Florida State imploding after we broke their QB) Auburn has a better actual resume than us if schedule alone is taken into account. I'm so used to them playing cupcakes and catching everyone else at the perfect time.
