A friend shot this in Indiana. The Monarch have been disappearing in huge numbers, and no one knows why. They're considering listing them as endangered.

That report was only in California. They also seem to be decreasing in areas with no drought issues and etc.
B.O. was in town recently and posted this pic on his FB page. These guys are all friends of mine I grew up surfing with here. Legends!
