I read that Coach Stallings kept a speaking engagement in Bessemer this week. It was a fundraising dinner for a school for disabled children in Haiti.

I seriously can't imagine anyone would do that. That would be extremely tacky.

Of course, NEVER boo your own team but for me, the only time it's ok to boo the other team is on their entrance on to the field (tradition more than anything) and maybe a dirty play though that might be also the only time I would consider booing one of our players for doing that but I probably still wouldn't -- just shake my head and say man what were you thinking?

Dabo is a Bama man no matter how you slice it. Winning championships runs in the family at Bama, congrats to him and Clemson, they BEAT us. They were he best team that night. We still have 16 titles no need to get upset over 1.I hope all cheer very loud for him. He deserves it.

He should be, he is a convicted cheater. I got nothing for DYE not cause he coached at the barn, but because he was cheating and cheating big time. To stop it all cheaters like him should be BANNED from the NCAA and anything NCAA for life. He is still skating along making a good living, that is just wrong. He should not be allowed on any college campus

Anyone booing someone other than a referee or a player / coach who is being classless needs to get out of BDS. I hate it when "fans" of the sport (I use that term loosely) boo opposing players just for being there.

I'm glad he can be there. That '92 championship is one of my favorite memories of all time. The way we did it and who we did it against and the fact it had been so long since the late 70's. For you younger guys, it would compare to how you felt when we won it against Texas in '09.

I'm glad Bama folks have warmed towards Dabo as a coach and possible candidate one day after CNS heads to the lake. If it happened today, he'd be my first phone call if I'm Greg Byrne.

i've never had a problem with the home crowd booing the other team as they come out of the tunnel, (mainly if it is a big rival). aside from that, i agree, that only if they are being classless.
