That is really funny. I just revel in that my home state team is so admired by my adopted city's pro basketball team.
I think the 80s were showtime, Magic, Lakers, etc., the 90s were a mugathon, Riley, Knicks, etc. Anyway, that's the right idea.
This is how popular Bama is in sports culture. I love it.

I had the Detroit's Bad Boy teams in mind with my comment, so late 80's-90s for tackle basketball.
