Longtime lurker here. Never have posted but thought I would put this on here.
Our secondary was supposed to be great this year but I did have questions about cornerback. Levi Wallace has been the answer. He has been lights out all year! Seems we Bama fans are not the only ones who have noticed!

Wallace's is an awesome story of hard work and perseverance. He'll be successful in life no matter what he chooses to do.

Levi Wallace might be Alabama's most unlikely success story. A former walk-on from Tucson, Arizona, the redshirt senior cornerback has emerged as a top backup and valuable special teams contributor at powerhouse Alabama despite only receiving interest from schools like Western New Mexico out of high school.

Playing for Alabama is the fulfillment a lifelong dream for Wallace, whose love for the Tide came from his father, Walter.

The success means more because of that and because he knows how special this would be for his dad if he were here to see this.

It's amazing that he is a former walk-on.

The other point I'd make about that list is that I wouldn't trade Da'Ron Payne for any other nose tackle in CFB.

He'll make the team somewhere. he has done extremely well. I think he's in top 5 in most categories...
#1 in lowest Passer rating when targeted; SEC CBs with .07 percent.

DeAndrew Baker is next with 23.1 percent.

Levi has joined the ranks of Rashaad Johnson, who I consider our best walk-on ever. Congrats Levi and please keep it up.

Levi is one of my favorite players. I started taking notice of him two years ago late in games. One of the announcers this past weekend had the perfect description of him....a 'Technician'.

I love love love HOW he plays the CB position. He just flat blankets opposing WR's and plays the ball in the air at the same time. Man I get SUPER fired up when he just SWATS a ball away. Love it.

I have no doubt he will be on the Final All-American list too.
