Not surprising when you have only 50k show for games, as compared to our 102k who go into the game and the other 50k just there for the game day experience.I will say that, at home, they handle traffic well, better than T-Town...

But the bulk of their traffic starts early in the 3rd quarter.....I will say that, at home, they handle traffic well, better than T-Town...
I haven't been up in a while, but the stadium was packed and I got out from an underground parking lot much faster than from BD...Not surprising when you have only 50k show for games, as compared to our 102k who go into the game and the other 50k just there for the game day experience.
Wow, you must have had a brilliant experience or three - I've been a number of games in knoxville, and between the river and the surrounding interstates, getting out of there was hell far more often than not. We finally figured out that if we parked several miles from the stadium, we could get out in less than a couple of hours, but I've never had anything like what I regularly have seen in knoxville when parking at Central HS in T-town. I get in the truck, spend about 5 minutes in traffic, then I'm on my way.I will say that, at home, they handle traffic well, better than T-Town...
Ya know Redwood, come to think of it, I don't see near as much Orange Tenn gear in the past few years. They may becoming an endangered species. :biggrin2:I just got back from the Pigeon Forge/Cherokee area and I saw more North Carolina stuff than I did Orange. I only noticed TWO Tennessee Jerseys the whole day in Pigeon Forge.
Well, I haven't been in a while, but it's possible my experience was skewed. All except once, I was getting VIP treatment because of the money my clients had donated. I'm sure that they emptied out the underground garage first and I was going south to Gatlinburg instead of to the interstate. The once I went on the interstate, I stayed in Cleveland and rode up with a friend. We parked pretty far out and took the bus. That worked pretty well too. I take back my nicetie...Wow, you must have had a brilliant experience or three - I've been a number of games in knoxville, and between the river and the surrounding interstates, getting out of there was hell far more often than not. On their boards, this is probably their 2nd most contentious topic, right behind firing Jones...They are going to welcome Lane back. I would not be shocked, but surprised. You cant make this stuff up when it comes to UcheaT

I rode a bus in and out with police escort for the one and only game I have attended at UT so it seemed pretty nice to me.Well, I haven't been in a while, but it's possible my experience was skewed.
