Not many will want a rematch between UA and UGA if one (especially UGA) just lost their last game to the other.

I could honestly see Notre Dame getting in over a 1 loss UGA if the circumstances are just right.

This could be the year the SEC championship prevents two SEC teams from getting 2 spots in the playoff.

If Auburn had taken care of Clemson the SEC would look much stronger.

Unfortunately if Bama loses to UGA, I can see ND getting in over Bama. UGA only beat ND by one point.

There is a deal between them that allows Notre Dame to take the place of an ACC team in the conference bowl affiliations, but this deal only applies to the lower tier bowls.
