Although his remarks were inappropriate and disturbing, I don't think they will keep me from watching him perform in the future. They almost seemed to be "showboating," delivered in the presence of others, rather than the private harassment committed by the others. The others, I couldn't begin to watch again. Roseanne, I never could anyway, so I guess her latest remarks don't count...

This is bizarre. Woman accused a cop of sexual harassment and the body cam cleared him. With out video his reputation and career would have been over. Meto has done some good things but it is now becoming a witch hunt. If you don't have video evidence you are guilty in this new age.
Some people are just sorry enough to use these accusations as a weapon, which is why we can't automatically believe every accusation. The evidence must be weighed carefully.

This is why I’m tired of this “movement”. I understand that the majority of the accusations true but, these 2 articles prove that not all of them are true. I also believe many more are false that we will never know about. I’m just tired of the people being accused not even getting a chance to defend themselves before their lives are ruined. That police officer is lucky because, without the body cam, he would have been fired and his family life shattered because of social media outcry.

Maybe everyone should where body cams these days. If you are male, especially college age, it might be the only way to safely go on a date these days.

It just bugs me that this movement has turned into the women are 100% believed to be truthful and the men are always guilty.

Currently watching the Chris Hardwick story unfold too. That one is weird because it's a former ex-girlfriend but the online mob immediately pulled out pitchforks based on an essay written by a potentially jilted ex-girlfriend. It's crazy to me how quickly a story like this can do major damage to someone whether it's true or not and how many people make their minds up 100% before all of the information is out there.

And a lot of women have no problem accusing men of rape (knowing full well of the potential consequences) to get their way. Also, a lot of women have zero problem using their bodies to get their way as well. I had a friend of mine who was working interstate patrol (MS Highway Patrolman) in my home town. He pulled a car over for speeding, not knowing who the person in the car was. As he got closer to the vehicle he realized he'd pulled over a woman he and his wife knew who lived in their neighborhood. This lady (and her husband) had a good reputation throughout the community as being upstanding people. He approached the car and told her he was sorry but he was going to have to write her a ticket for speeding. In an attempt to get out of the ticket the lady slid her skirt up above her unmentionables and asked "Is there anything I can do to get you to not write that ticket?". Here you have an upper middle class married woman with children willing to "turn a trick" to get out of a speeding ticket. My friend warned her about attempting to bribe an officer, wrote her the ticket and walked off. He said (and obviously so) he never looked at that woman the same. I think many times we have this mental image of the "type" people who do this. But in reality, people (in this case an upper middle class wife and mother of children) from all walks of life do it. Regarding the false rape issue, there needs to be severe penalties and jail time for any woman falsely accusing a man of rape.

This is crazy he is losing everything because some one he dated for 3 years is saying he controlled her. For years he made her lay there and have sex. I am not sure where this is going to end. Anyone can look back and say I really didn't want to have sex all the time during a relationship even a man. I am stunned he was suspended for this. The man has moved on happily married with a kid on the way.

Chris Hardwick to Return to AMC After Investigation

A friend of mine has been close friends with Hardwick for ~35 years and says he know this would go away. It was a cash grab and didn't stand a chance when it was investigated. It also serves as a reminder that anyone can accuse someone of something awful - we should wait to see what comes out before we judge them...
I had been hoping for/expecting this result. It seemed completely out of character & more like a jilted ex out for revenge. Especially after pretty much all of his other ex-girlfriends came out & said they experienced nothing like that & some strange lies/changes/old info coming out on the accuser.

Mavs owner Mark Cuban donates $10M after workplace probe

DALLAS — Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has agreed to contribute $10 million to help further the cause of women in sports and raise awareness about domestic violence after an investigation released Wednesday substantiated numerous incidents of sexual harassment and improper workplace conduct within the franchise going back more than 20 years.
Investigators hired by the outspoken billionaire said there was no evidence to show Cuban knew of the most explosive allegations involving former team president Terdema Ussery. But the report faulted Cuban for not firing two employees when there were clear signs he should have.
In one case, a successful ticket salesman wasn't fired after surveillance video showed a used condom slipping out of his pants. Years earlier, Cuban had been told pornography was found on the employee's computer, and Cuban warned him that he would be fired it happened again.

When told about the condom, Cuban was not aware of any further issues with pornography on the computer and wrote to Ussery, "Don't make a bigger issue out of it than it is." The employee wasn't fired until three years later after other issues came up, including with a new female employee.
In another case, Cuban didn't fire team website reporter Earl Sneed after learning of a second domestic violence allegation against him. The accuser was another Mavericks employee. Sneed was fired after the SI report.
Better watch your step, gentlemen....or as Austin Powers says......

As a child of the '80s, this whole sorry set of events is a real downer. The Cosby Show was must watch television back in the day. And as a little kid, Fat Albert was in my Saturday morning cartoon rotation.

Enjoy prison, scumbag.
