I'm with you here. Since clearly no one wants Minkah to return them, let's discuss names, I liked what one poster said about Jacobs of course he is tending to a tweaked ankle at the moment.

What about Jalen, we have a good back up for him? (Blue Font)
Jacobs was my suggestion. I think he would be perfect. Assuming he can field punts

Part of me would like to see Minkah return punts. But the other part of me remembers what happened to Eddie last year. And we don't have another Minkah to take over that role if he gets hurt.

Didn't Ridley return a few punts early in his career? He might be a good one to put back there if Diggs is still out and we can't get the drops cleaned up. I'm also intrigued by the Jacobs suggestion. I'm all for anything that gets the ball in his hands more frequently.

This - after Eddie last year not sure if Saban would take that risk again. I do agree Jacobs could be a good option.

I like Marks and I think with a little more game time he will be fine. Even Diggs has dropped a punt or two this year.
Diggs looks totally relaxed back there - Marks does not. Diggs would be my choice. Not as explosive, but far more reliable.

Between Diggs, Ruggs, and Marks, we will be fine. One of them will settle down and get it done. The bye week came at a good time... Roll Tide!!:biga:

I would hope the Eddie Jackson injury last year would make the staff think hard before doing this. His injury hurt more than people realize. In my opinion if he plays against Clemson last season just saying............

I would love to see him back there but afraid of an injury.
Agree. What I'd give to have a specialist like Javier Arenas back there.

I'm not opposed to fair catching every punt if need be.
