If you recall the 2008 SECCG... Bama wasn't ready to defeat UF yet... UGA will also not be ready for Bama.
Bama was ready. Just came up short. I’m not so sure about UGA. They don’t have near the same offense. UGA 2012 would destroy this current iteration of UGA.

Florida has almost a 100 yards on the ground mid way through the 2nd quarter. They are no where near Alabama, maybe 05 before Prothro went down.
Got to agree with you Graytide. Overlook the dawgs at your peril. Remember when OSU were on their 3rd QB and embarrassed Bama? I do and I don't want to have that feeling again.
Nobody is overlooking the dawgs. UGA well coached and disciplined for the first time in years, But comparing them to an Alabama team that gave up an average of 8 points per game and beat every opponent except one by 16 points or more is a bit of hyperbole.
Exactly, to compare them to our 2011 team is quite a stretch. I know UGA is good, but not THAT good. With that said, they will definitely be our biggest test in the SEC.
Very impressed with the dawgs but I’m not sure they are really being tested against the gators. UF, especially on O, is just awful.
Some of y’all forgot to take your medication this morning. 2011 good?! Ha! You’re talking an all time great defense, possibly and probably the best ever to do it. That’s crazy to even think that.

Agreed, but frankly I see them stumble in Auburn and semi-embarrassed in the SECCG.
