Top 10 after 11/11/2017 games

So after a turmoil filled day of games what is your new top 10? One thing I hope is they don't place a lot of value in au's win over Ga. The whole basis for Ga being in the top 4 was its one point win over ND. With both teams getting destroyed that should devalue the win.

Not sure, where we should be ranked, but I keep asking myself this: how confident can we be of beating AU based on where each team is right now? If not at least 50.1% confident (and I can’t say that I am today - might change in a week), I’m having trouble ranking us 1.

Based on how they are playing right now, I think the top four, though not in order, are Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Miami. After that? Still not sold (yet) on Bucky. OU (until yesterday) gives up too many points. I obviously overrated ND, and UGa, all season. Pedo State and USC still have no quality wins and two losses each. tOSU is a box of chocolates. TCU? Thanks for stopping by.

I have to give them credit Padre. Undefeated versus two teams that have gotten their brains beaten out in the last couple of weeks. I try not to look at the name of the university, nor the tradition, and rank the teams based on what they've actually accomplished to date.

OU (Wins out)
AU (Wins out)
BAMA (Gets nod over 1 loss Wiscy) We are just too beat up at LB. Getting some of the guys back will be huge for the playoff. We beat down Miami 25 years later in the Dome!

I still have the philosophy that the play on the field head to head is more important than records or W/L alone.

If any underdog no matter how big an underdog wins the championship game, they get the title and the trophy. We dont say, nevermind, the other team is still better so we will give to them. You dont always have the head to head to compare but when you do it should count and overcome having 1 more loss than the team you are comparing too.
