I've never taken the family on a cruise and would like to plan one for Spring Break. I'm thinking about a Disney cruise as a surprise for Lily. Anyone have any advice? Probably looking at a 4-5 day excursion.

We have never done a Disney Cruise (due to price). But, we have been on about 10 cruises. We definitely recommend that way of travel. We love it. I can answer any general cruise questions. :)

We took our kids 3-4 yrs ago (at that time older one was around 7 younger one was around 5 yrs old). They had a blast. As a general rule the best part of it was the Disney kids club which allowed them (if they wanted) to go and play on their own at a dedicated supervised place on the ship. Obviously lots to do for both kids and adults. Dining was so so......kinda disappointing given the price of the cruise. But if ur going on a Disney cruise for the food tho.....well I wouldn’t know what to say to ya. Overall tremendous fun for the kids. Best cruise experience imo with kids (having been on carnival, royal Caribbean, and princess cruise line). Pricey but well worth it.

Been to Disney World many times and going this weekend. Never been on cruise. A couple of my friends have and they tell me it’s an even better experience than the parks. So, if you have a chance to go DO IT.

What cruise line(s) and destination(s) would you recommend? I'm planning to start looking at options this weekend. It's always good to have alternatives.

Sounds good. I'll likely have questions for you after I take a look at their options.

We have only done Carnival. But, we have always had a great time..especially for the price. My kids have a blast in their kids club.

I am not sure how old your kids are, but if they are still young enough for the camp...they would love it.

We have been to a lot of different destinations around the Caribbean. You really can’t go wrong with most destinations. It just depends on what you want to do on the islands.
