Look if we manage to beat Auburn and Georgia, then the coach of the year goes to Saban. It'll be one of his best coaching hell ever done.

Please. That's ridiculous on so many levels..Someone up stairs is testing Alabama's ability to deal with adversity. If we win at UA UGA or in playoff it will be Nicks best coaching ever and the test of this teams ability to step up. This is getting just ridiculous. I guess we will see just how good our 2nd and 3rd string really is.
WHY? Do you not believe as many do that all our lifes are controlled by a higher power? That that higher power has a plan for us all, and there is a reason for all things that happen, and that we just do not know the plan? I for one think all things good and bad happen for a reason. What that reason is I am not enlightened enough to know.Please. That's ridiculous on so many levels..
That`s because there hasn`t been one like it in the 59 years that I`ve been actively watching Alabama footballI don't remember another year like this...
You're logic is so flawed and this isn't the only thread that you've showed your flawed logic in either. You tried to compare Gene Chizik to Bear Bryant and Steve Spurrier in the other thread just because Chizik won a national championship. Because of your continuous illogical banter I'm starting to wonder if you're an aubie in disguise.WHY? Do you not believe as many do that all our lifes are controlled by a higher power? BTW, make a thread on non sports if you want to debate if injuries are controlled by a higher power. This thread is about LaBryan Ray's injury and how it impacts the team going forward..
OKAY for one putting spurrier in legend staus is crazy, he is a good coach but his record does not even get close to legendary status, second my beliefs are mine, I guess if someone does not blieve as you then they are an aubie. LOGIC explain to me how LOGICALLY spurriers record makes him a college coaching legend? His comparison to chizik was spot on 1 title, many have doen that, that alone does not make a legend. Hs over all record is not up to legend status either, he was good but that isd far from LEGENDARY status. I stand by my logic, he won many games and at UF at the time he may be a UF legend but not college legend. PLEASE look back at the true legends of college football, now show mer numbers that stack him aginst the true greats. Just off the top of my haed Saban Myer Bear Carroll all better records and title lists, and I still think it is hard to call all of them legends at this point. Now dig into numbers from the past and he drops even further down the list. SO AGAIN with LOGIC show me how he gets to this lofty status.AMEN!! Thank you for responding to these ridiculous comments.

I only comapred him to spurrier to make a point, 1 NC spurrier is not a legendary status coach, no way his record is not there. LInk below to look at real legends, guessd this is an aubie article.........................http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/192030618/best-100-college-football-coaches-ever-top-25AMEN!! Take your coach talking points to that thread, so those of us that want to discuss LaBryan Ray's injury can.I only comapred him to spurrier to make a point, 1 NC spurrier is not a legendary status coach, no way his record is not there. This lists coaches and accomplishments, I do not agree totally but look at the records, to many forget the past coaches who really are legends of college football. READ then explain my flawed logic on spurrier being a legendary coach. READ my post I said SPURRIER is not a legend good coach not even top 10 all time
I think you're the one that has missed the point. The original statement in which this entire thing derailed was :I only comapred him to spurrier to make a point, 1 NC spurrier is not a legendary status coach, no way his record is not there. You took that and turned it into a discussion of whether Spurrier was a legendary coach compared to coaches at other schools. Which IS NOT what the original poster was saying. In Florida's eyes, compared to the other coaches in THEIR program's history. He is a legendary coach. You're arguing a point that was never originally stated.I agree, but the ole ball coach is their Bear Bryant so the new coach will have to figure out how to balance having him as a living legend and then making his own name of fame.
I`ll be very surprised if he`s not there a lot.Well, if Mathis is going to be used we can go ahead and get him a lot of reps tomorrow.
TBH I think Quinnen has been more disruptive than Payne. I know Payne does a lot of the dirty work on the inside but I kind of expected a bigger year out of him considering this is probably his last year here..Maybe a bigger role for Quinnen as well. He's looked good.

If all the injuries to our players this year were muscular then it might be worth looking into. No amount of training or conditioning can stop a bone from breaking or ligament tearing in the knee. Plus, Cochran's been with us for 10 years now and this is the only year we've had this problem. I don't think the team is doing anything different this year IRT strength/conditioning than in previous years..These injuries are crazy and are making me mad. We need all the depth we can get v Auburn and whoever we play after that. I wonder why injuries have been so bad this year. I know Cochran has a great conditioning program but hopefully he isn’t overworking the players. Sometimes injury process starts slowly and then it builds up, then happens in a full speed practice or game. At least that’s what my PT says and I agree with him as far as my injury goes.
I sure hope we stay injury free from here on out but the trend isn’t looking good. It would be great to make it to the playoffs at least.
I recall that 2004 was a pretty rough year in terms of injuries. Croyle was lost early in the year and I think Spencer Pennington may have been out for some time and we ended up starting Marc Guillon a couple of games. Then we lost Ray Hudson and Tim Castille for the year.Only 1990 is even close. Lost Prince Wimbley, Siran Stacy and Craig Sanderson, all to torn ACLs, in he first three games.
The difference is, after that nasty start, the rest of 1990 was pretty normal. This year, the hits just keep coming.
