He and Don Williams were both in W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings (Burt Reynolds movie). Don't know if anyone else in that movie died this year.

I saw Tillis in concert in Memorial Coliseum (now Coleman Coliseum) in 1982 along with Alabama (the band).
