before the season, there was endless hand wringing about how we were going to struggle this year and have multiple losses in the regular season, and more so as the season went on with all of the injuries we had at a single position. now those same folks are ticked and running around like henny penny because we dropped 1 game in the season.

with all of the injuries we sustained this season, i think the job the coaches and the team did to get us where we are is nothing short of masterful.
Wonder how many teams could have a pretty much busted up defense for practically the entire season and some questions and identity issues on offense, and be 11-1 and ranked # 5 in the nation?

Love this post, but none of this matter if we don't make it in on Sunday.
Can Coach Dye tell the TOSU team that they are NOT man enough to beat Wisconsin?

Can he also tell TCU that they are NOT man enough to beat Oklahoma?

What else can we do to provide motivation for TOSU and TCU to squeak by their opponents this weekend?

we have been at that crossroad a few times in saban's tenure, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 to name a few, basically every time we have lost a game a big chunk of our fanbase goes bat poop nuts saying this is the end and saban has lost the team. but we've done just fine and i don't expect it to be any different going forward.
It's not THAT we lost, it's HOW we lost. And yes we have been here before. The last game that was similar was against Ohio State, and they responded well to that. But responding then does not guarantee responding now, If Ronnie Harrison goes pro as some are expecting that leaves us with wall to wall rookies and freshman in the secondary next season. We've never seen that before under Saban and if history serves pat we are going to have to score a CRAP TON next season, and on top of that we all know the only person who has the potential to do that is sitting on the bench which means somebody's got to have the guts to do what's necessary to win.

Then there is the issue of the yearly poaching of our coaching staff since half the AD's out there wants a Saban disciple for a head coach.

Plus... Somebody's got to put some hate back in our defense. That was definitely missing this year.
