[FONT="]Averett being out or limited would be a problem for Alabama given the lack of proven options at cornerback behind him and fellow starter Levi Wallace.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Converted wide receiver Trevon Diggs and fellow sophomore Jared Mayden are listed as the Tide's top backups at cornerback.[/FONT]
[FONT="]A two-year starter and one of the top cornerbacks in the SEC, Averett enters Monday with 40 tackles, an interception and seven pass breakups.[/FONT]
